headshot As a young girl growing up in Grimsby, Ontario, Amy was always being crafty, making Jewelry, painting, etc. As an undergraduate in Music, she rekindled her love for Jewelry making, both as a break and distraction from her schoolwork. At first she was making Jewelry for friends and family members, and it took off from there. Now she sells her Jewelry through consignment shops and private commissions, and of course, she still gives plenty to her family and friends. Amy has just recently uprooted herself and now lives in Montréal, Quebec, where she is enjoying the beautiful city and all that it has to offer!

Amy approaches her Jewelry like she does any piece of artwork. Every piece is one of a kind, and never duplicated. She collects antique and vintage beads and stones to use in her work. Blending the old with the new, to create fresh classic Wearable Art. She uses a variety of techniques and materials from semi-precious stones, and glass to wood, wire and much more. She uses proper gold and silver plated ear hooks and fixings to create higher quality and a longer life span for her Jewelry.

Amy enjoys creating unique pieces and special projects. She also does commissions for special events, and even Jewelry alterations. This portfolio serves as a sampling of some of the pieces Amy has created. To find more of her current work and items for sale please visit her online shop at www.amymariewallace.etsy.com.
